How RulesBase Works
Rules are easy to read formulas that define the data and logic of a model … Grids then present the results in a spreadsheet format.

• Rules and Grids are reusable from model to model, saving time in creating and reviewing a model;
• Rule results automatically expand to the available data, allowing the user to replace data and logic, and create subtotals automatically;
• Rules and Grids can be created and modified by multiple users at the same time, and then easily combined into a model;
• RulesBase always maintains a history of changes, allowing a better audit trail and eliminating reviewing logic that hasn’t changed;
• RulesBase imports data from Microsoft Excel and ODBC databases.
