The Gray Box Company:

Gray Box Software was founded in 2004 to design modern software tools and to provide software customization and consulting services for the financial analysis community. This community, spread across a variety of industries has a common goal - to create, analyze and manage financial transactions.

The Company created RulesBaseTM in 2005 to provide a software tool to analyze complex transactions in a natural and intuitive way. The Company created Spreadsheet Auditor in 2008 to assist with the auditing and management of existing Excel 2003 spreadsheets. Downloadable versions of the software are available on the website.

The Company is available to provide design and consulting services using a variety of software tools to improve efficiency and auditability while maintaining the flexibility required in today's business environment. The Gray Box Founder:

Steven Ginzberg founded Gray Box Software in 2004 to design modern tools for the financial analysis community. He has performed financial analysis and operations management for over 20 years in industries as diverse as commodities trading, equipment leasing, asset-backed debt, private equity, real estate development, and others. Additional experience is:

  • Blackstone Group, Director - Financial Analysis. Managed group of 10 analysts performing investment allocations, portfolio management process and software design, and special projects for CFO.
  • Sumitomo Bank Securities, Inc. Structuring and management of asset-backed portfolios, including Commercial Paper trading , cash flow management, software and process design.
  • Golodetz Group. Diverse analysis and portfolio management functions including acquisition of equipment leasing companies, aircraft residual sharing agreements, private equity fund secondary interest purchases
